 What is the main story of the Bible?  

 Is there a single theme that ties together the 66 books written by over 40 authors over a period of about 1,500 years?  We believe that God is the ultimate author of the book and that he guided each human author down to the exact choice of words.  This means that we should be able to find an answer to the question.
