ABOUT YOUR FIRST VISIT TO MULFORD

Welcome Visitors!  Come and Worship!

There are so many questions when visiting a new church.  What should I wear, where should I sit?  What does your particular church believe?  Please feel free to "visit" us through our web site, including checking out our Statement of Faith.  You can call ahead and speak with someone on our staff by calling (563) 263-7489 for more information.

Our friendly greeters will be happy to assist you with questions and special needs, operate the wheel chair lift, or give directions to a Sunday School class.  All childcare workers are carefully screened and prepared to welcome your infants and toddlers.    We have reserved a couple of special parking spots for you!  Handicap parking is available as well.  Our facilities are wheelchair and handicap accessible.  If you have a hearing need, please notify one of the ushers as you enter to receive a special device to help provide amplification.

You are welcome to choose your own seat in the sanctuary or if you like, an usher will be happy to assist you.   From 10:15 am to 10:30 am time is provided for meeting and greeting so feel free to say hello to someone you may know or make a new friend!

Sunday School teachers have studied and prepared lessons to teach God's word for all ages.  Children’s Church is dismissed prior to Pastor Jerry's sermon for ages four through second grade. There will be times for singing hymns, choruses, and songs of praise. The choir provides special music throughout the school year, with specials from some our talented musicians. First time visitors will be offered a brochure to tell you more about Mulford Evangelical Free Church. It is our prayer that you be spiritually fed and experience the presence of God.

There will be a small yellow card in your bulletin where you may choose to leave your name and address, prayer requests and praise reports, with the opportunity to indicate whether or not you would like a follow up visit.

What do people at Mulford wear to church?

The clothing worn reflects the diversity of cultures and generations of the Mulford family.  Faded blue jeans, or tennis shoes are the clothing of choice for some, while others may choose dresses, skirts, or suits.

God, not what we wear, is our focus.
