Mulford Community Garden
The Mulford Community Garden's mission is to provide an area for individuals or families to grow their own small gardens, allowing them to reap a harvest of fresh produce while creating an atmosphere for growers to experience community. The gardening adds fresh vegetables to the kitchen table and helps stretch tight grocery budgets. Gardening also contributes to self-worth, experiencing the reward of a bountiful harvest in return for hard work.
We welcome community participation and we are part of the Muscatine Blue Zone Program to help promote healthy living.
Please mail your completed Application Form to the Mulford Church Office, 2400 Hershey Avenue, Muscatine, IA 52761 to reserve your garden plot. Applications will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. If you have any questions, suggestions, or would like to be a part of the garden outreach, please contact the church office at 563.263.7489 or [email protected], and leave a message for Fred Levinson, Garden Chair. Fred will contact you as soon as he is able. |
