The Guatemala team is asking for donations of ribbon peanut butter; gummy vitamins; and school supplies, especially pens, pencils, and colored pencils (no crayons, please). Please drop off your donations here by Monday, June 7.
We are having a bridal shower for Bao here on Friday, June 4, at 6:30 p.m. Please sign up on the clipboard, or call the office, if you plan to attend. She and Gabi are registered at Amazon & Bed Bath and Beyond. If you wish to contribute to the group gift, see Adriana, Joey, or Angie.
Men, we would love to have you join a study of how to Be a Godly Man, by Joby Martin. The five-week study, led by Ed E., will be at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesdays in June.
Seniors, if you would like a free baked ziti (pasta) dinner delivered to your home on Friday, June 18, contact the office. Everyone else, if you would like to help cook, package, and/or deliver the meals, contact the office. All help is appreciated.
The garden is open. If you want a plot, or wish to volunteer to minister to non-Mulford garden people, contact Fred.
Pregnancy Resources is having a Giveaway on June 7, 10:00-noon, at the Mobile Medical Unit at the YMCA.
The next Kids Bible Camp meeting is here on Tuesday, June 1; or you may attend the makeup meeting here on Thursday, June 3. Volunteers are needed in all areas of camp. Contact Janet to volunteer or if you have questions.
Our missionaries for May and June are Scott and Annette Kaczinski. They seek to proclaim Jesus and encourage others through music. They minister to married couples, the elderly, special-needs adults, and students. There are fliers in the foyer along with copies of their latest newsletter.

II. The Purpose — vv. 10-13
A. vv. 10-11a: To Reveal a Secret.
• Ephesians 1.9–10 — making known to us the mystery of his will, according to his purpose, which he set forth in Christ as a plan for the fullness of time, to unite all things in him, things in heaven and things on earth.
B. vv. 11b-13: To Veil a Secret.
III. The Explanation — vv. 14-20
A. v. 14: The Word to Human Hearts.
B. v. 15: Hardened Hearts.
• James 1.21 — Therefore put away all filthiness and rampant wickedness and receive with meekness the implanted word, which is able to save your souls.
C. vv. 16-17: Shallow Hearts.
• 1 Peter 1.6–7 — In this you rejoice, though now for a little while, if necessary, you have been grieved by various trials, so that the tested genuineness of your faith—more precious than gold that perishes though it is tested by fire—may be found to result in praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ.
D. vv. 18-19: Divided Hearts.
• Hosea 10.12 — Sow for yourselves righteousness; reap steadfast love; break up your fallow ground, for it is the time to seek the LORD, that he may come and rain righteousness upon you.
• Takeaway: Break up the soil of your heart.
E. v. 20: Fruitful Hearts.
• John 15.5 — I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.
