Mulford Community Garden
The Garden is Closed for the 202 season due to the Covid-19 outbreak. Thank you for your flexibility as we navigate these uncertain times.
The Mulford Community Garden's mission is to provide an area for individuals or families to grow their own small gardens, allowing them to reap a harvest of fresh produce while creating an atmosphere for growers to experience community. The gardening adds fresh vegetables to the kitchen table and helps stretch tight grocery budgets. Gardening also contributes to self-worth, experiencing the reward of a bountiful harvest in return for hard work. We welcome community participation and we are part of the Muscatine Blue Zone Program to help promote healthy living.
Please mail your completed Application Form to the Mulford Church Office, 2400 Hershey Avenue, Muscatine, IA 52761 to reserve your garden plot. Applications are being accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis. If you have any questions, suggestions, or would like to be a part of the garden outreach, please call the church office at 563.263.7489, and leave a message for Fred Levinson, Garden Chair. Fred will call you back as soon as he is able. |
